Authentic Chicken Curry

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Spices: turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  4. Add tomatoes, yogurt, and spices. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  5. Add water and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.

Mango Lassi

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the mangoes, yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom powder until smooth.
  2. Add ice cubes if desired and blend again.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve chilled
