Authentic Chicken Curry
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- Spices: turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
- Add tomatoes, yogurt, and spices. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add water and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
Mango Lassi
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups yogurt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Blend the mangoes, yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom powder until smooth.
- Add ice cubes if desired and blend again.
- Pour into glasses and serve chilled
